Title: AWS Real-Time Data Streaming Pipeline

Short description: Built a real-time data pipeline using Kafka, AWS EC2, S3, Glue, and Athena.

About the work: This project demonstrates a real-time data streaming workflow on AWS. I used Kafka on EC2 to stream data, consumed it with Python, stored the output in S3, cataloged it with AWS Glue, and made it queryable using Athena.

What I did:

Set up Kafka on AWS EC2

Created producer and consumer workflows

Streamed CSV data through Kafka

Stored processed data in AWS S3

Used AWS Glue Crawler for schema cataloging

Queried data using Amazon Athena

Problem: Batch data processing was not suitable for real-time analytics and scalable cloud-based data ingestion.

Solution: Created a real-time streaming pipeline using Kafka on AWS EC2, stored processed data in S3, cataloged it with AWS Glue, and queried it with Amazon Athena.

Tools: Python, Apache Kafka, AWS EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, Pandas

Result: Built an end-to-end cloud data streaming workflow that supports real-time ingestion, storage, cataloging, and SQL-based analytics.
