Project Overview Street Lines is a React SPA that shows customers live betting odds and lines in real time. I built it from UI mockups into a working front end, with a focus on speed, mobile use, and clean data display.
Goals Keep bettors informed so they can build better slips. Make the app easy to use on a phone, make sorting and finding the right lines simple, and wire up Google Analytics so the client can see how people use the site.
Approach
Build: Broke the UI mockup into small reusable React components and shipped in short agile cycles.
Iterate: Ran multiple rounds of polish on layout, sorting, and mobile behavior until the product matched the brief. [need this: what those iterations were specifically chasing, if you want that line sharper]
Launch: Shipped a clean launch, gave two weeks of post-launch support, and left documentation for the client’s in-house team.
Outcome Traffic grew to over 1,000 recurring real users a day. In post-launch surveys, 95% of users gave positive feedback. The product kept bettors on current lines throughout the day.
