New component live: Glass Video Card π¬
Every school, course or agency site has an institutional video, and it almost always ends up buried in a raw YouTube embed that breaks the page's design.
Glass Video Card turns it into a glassmorphism card that opens fullscreen on click. Paste a YouTube, Vimeo or MP4 link, or upload your own video file β no embed code needed.
Built with two glass recipes, full keyboard accessibility, and tested across desktop, tablet and mobile.
$9. Second piece of the Glass component family I'm building for Framer β check out Glass Login, Glass Form, Glass Contact, Glass FAQ Accordion and Glass Section Kit too.
Love this!
thanks Bella! glad it landed π
Glass effect is always very cool man, great job! π₯
thanks man! took me a while to get the blur + fill balance right without killing the readability. glass is easy to do, hard to do well π
thanks! honestly the visual part was fast β the time went into the fullscreen transition and making it behave on mobile. probably 70% of the work was in details nobody notices until they break.
had some AI help on the code side too, which sped things up a lot. still had to fight...
raw youtube embeds ruining a page is so real

A Recent Framer-Based Brand Experience for a Real Estate Company
Super clean brand system! π€ Love the mint on dark contrast and how the mark works across touchpoints - that ID card mockup is chef's kiss. Great Framer execution for real estate!
Absolute positioning can be really useful in Framer.
For example, when an element needs to overlap another element or sit on top of other stack. (1st clip)
It's also useful when an element needs to stay in a specific position instead of following the normal layout. (2nd clip)
These are just a few cases where absolute positioning makes sense.
Great breakdown! Absolute positioning is so underrated in Framer for those overlap cases. Love how you explained the 2 use-cases - stacking and fixed position vs normal flow. Super helpful tip!
