i think the emotions you are trying to evoke in the users matter and for usability purpose you want users to see what this is all about these should determine your choice of speed for the motion in question.

It really depends on the idea you're trying to convey, as an audience the videos explain two very different things and its decided by the core elements which their eyes fall on, in this case the two balls or circles in the middle of the scene. But I Personally like the first one.
