Professional Spreadsheet Formatting & Data Accuracy
A professional spreadsheet isn't just about appearance — it's about accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
This project demonstrates my approach to transforming unorganised and inconsistent data into clean, structured, and easy-to-use spreadsheets.
What I worked on:
Accurate data entry and spreadsheet formatting
Standardising names, dates, prices, and other information
Identifying duplicate records and missing information
Highlighting potential errors for review
Maintaining original data until corrections are authorised
Performing final quality checks to improve accuracy and consistency
My Approach
I believe that data accuracy is just as important as presentation. Rather than making assumptions or removing questionable information, I identify potential issues and seek client confirmation before making changes that could affect the original records.
The Result
A professionally formatted, organised spreadsheet that is easier to read, review, and maintain.
I work primarily with Google Sheets and can provide completed files in Excel, CSV, or other agreed formats.
My Goal
To provide reliable, accurate, and confidential data entry services that businesses can trust.
Customer Records Cleaning | Accurate Data Entry & Spreadsheet Management
Would you trust a customer database containing duplicate records, missing contact details and inconsistent information?
Even small data entry errors can create problems for businesses, from contacting the wrong customer to maintaining inaccurate records.
For this portfolio demonstration, I worked with a sample customer database containing duplicate entries, missing information and inconsistent formatting.
The problems identified:
🔴 Duplicate customer records
🔴 Missing or incomplete email addresses
🔴 Inconsistent contact date formats
🔴 Incorrectly formatted phone numbers
🔴 Customer names requiring correction or clarification
My approach to solving these problems:
✅ Reviewed customer records for potential errors
✅ Identified duplicate entries and documented discrepancies
✅ Used a simulated client review process to confirm changes before applying them
✅ Standardised dates, names and contact information
✅ Organised the spreadsheet into a clean, professional format
What makes my approach different?
I believe accurate data entry requires more than simply copying information.
When I identify a potential mistake, I don't automatically delete or replace the information. I document the issue and request confirmation before making changes.
This helps protect data integrity and reduces the risk of losing important customer information.
Services I offer:
• Data Entry & Spreadsheet Organisation
• Customer Database Management
• Duplicate Identification & Review
• Data Formatting & Standardisation
• Google Sheets Data Management

30 Inventory Records. Multiple Errors. One Clean, Professional Spreadsheet.
How confident are you that your business spreadsheets are accurate?
Duplicate products, missing prices, inconsistent formatting and incorrect stock quantities might seem like small problems, but they can quickly lead to costly mistakes.
Here's an example of how I approach inventory data cleanup.
Using a sample inventory dataset for Oakfield Home & Living, I identified and addressed:
✅ 4 duplicate records
✅ Missing product pricing
✅ Incorrect and negative stock quantities
✅ Inconsistent category names and formatting
✅ Spreadsheet organisation and readability
The result?
📊 30 original records reduced to 26.

🔍 A structured review process to identify errors before making changes.
My approach is simple: Accuracy first, formatting second, client satisfaction always.
I don't believe data entry should just be about copying information. It's about making sure the information is reliable, organised and genuinely useful to the business.
