This project analyzes the Fragile States Index (FSI) 2023 dataset to identify factors contributing to state fragility across different countries.
Using Python, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, I cleaned and analyzed the dataset and created a dashboard containing multiple visualizations. The analysis focused on key indicators such as:
Demographic Pressures
Economic Inequality
Group Grievance
Human Flight and Brain Drain
Overall FSI Score
I also created a correlation heatmap to understand relationships between different indicators and used statistical visualizations to identify trends and patterns among countries.

I built a small data-cleaning workflow around one simple rule: bad rows should never silently disappear.
Synthetic demo results:
• 20 raw order records
• 16 clean rows
• 2 duplicates removed
• 2 invalid rows quarantined
• $3,690 paid revenue reconciled
The output includes a clean CSV, a rejected-row file, an audit log, and an Excel dashboard. Dates, names, emails, regions, products, and payment statuses are standardized.
The key design choice is quarantine + reasons, not just dropping bad rows and exporting. That lets a reviewer trace exactly what changed and decide whether rejected records should be repaired.
For recurring exports, what needs the most manual review in your workflow: duplicates, inconsistent labels, or invalid amounts and dates?
Retail Sales Analysis by Season and Category
I analyzed a retail sales dataset to explore how total sales vary across seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) within three product categories: Beauty, Clothing, and Electronics. Using Python (pandas and matplotlib), I aggregated total sales amounts and visualized the results in a grouped bar chart to compare seasonal performance side by side.
Key insight: Winter consistently drove the highest sales across all three categories, while Spring showed the weakest performance in Clothing and Electronics — suggesting a potential opportunity for targeted spring promotions.
