Gryso Market: Two-Sided Equipment Rental Marketplace
A rental isn't a checkout. Every booking has to keep availability, pickup times, payments and returns in sync for both sides.
We built Gryso as a location-aware rental marketplace with customer and merchant portals in one Next.js app:
• Nearby discovery, favorites and rental periods
• Pickup slots limited to each merchant's business hours
• Stripe Connect payouts and paid featured listings
• Real-time customer-to-merchant chat and reviews
Behind it sit four GraphQL microservices (User, Market, Order, Payment), each deployed on its own to Google Cloud Run through GitHub Actions.
The result is one rental ecosystem instead of scattered tools.
