"Communion", is an original poem exploring the relationship between faith, belief, religion, and the ways spiritual practices can become intertwined with human behaviour.
Through wordplay, religious imagery, and social commentary, the poem examines the tension between spiritual conviction and the institutions, perceptions, and behaviours surrounding it.
The piece plays with familiar religious language while questioning what happens when faith becomes something worn, performed, or used rather than something deeply lived.
