I built Varelo into a small agency. A team of 4.
I thought that was the goal. It sounds good when you say it out loud. "I run a team." "I have people working for me." For a while I believed that was the version of this business I actually wanted.
Then I looked at the last few months and noticed something. I had barely designed anything myself. The team did the design work. I did project management, client calls, keeping things moving. All useful, none of it the reason I started this in the first place.
So I sat with that for a while and got honest with myself. What I actually love is sitting with a client, understanding their vision, and turning that into something real. A website, a brand, a feeling. That process is the entire reason I got into this. Not managing a team. Not scaling headcount. The making.
So I am going back to that. Varelo is becoming a freelance studio again, me doing the design work directly with clients, not handing it off and checking in later.

Designed the interface for XPlace — a platform that lets users borrow against their crypto holdings and spend through a Visa card, without selling assets or triggering taxable events.
The challenge:
Create a product that feels both trustworthy and premium — avoiding the typical "startup" look, and steering clear of the neon/gradient clichés so common in crypto design.
The solution:
A dark, cinematic mood built around a monochrome landscape backdrop, bold expressive typography, and a metallic Visa Platinum card as the central visual anchor. Minimal elements, maximum focus on one action: get the card.
What's in the interface:
— Full-bleed hero section with an atmospheric background
— Large-scale headline that communicates value in seconds
— 3D card render as a trust-building element
— Transparent glass-effect header
Built in Framer — this isn't just the landing page, there are several more screens and flows I'll share case study separately 👀
That design, scroll transitions and color palette is very well designed with a great presentation. I like how you blend different type of scroll animations in different sections. Fits my dark sci fi aesthetic, good work!

Aise is a conceptual skincare brand built around a simple premise: wellness should simplify your life, not add to it. Inspired by growing consumer overwhelm and decision fatigue, I developed a reduction-led brand strategy and visual identity that transforms minimalism into a functional system rather than a stylistic trend. Through restrained typography, intentional spacing, refined packaging, and clear product architecture, the brand is designed to reduce cognitive load and make skincare feel calm, intuitive, and effortless.
Love how restrained the packaging feels, that wordmark on the outer box doing double duty as texture is a nice touch. Did you test other color combos before landing on the pink and sage, or was that pairing there from the start?
