Exploring AI + Branding as a UX/Product Designer Recently, I was exploring logo ideas for a client who is planning to launch a cloud kitchen brand called Pet Pooja.
Instead of starting directly with traditional iterations, I experimented with multiple visual explorations using Google Stitch — testing different typography styles, compositions, visual identities, and brand directions.
After several iterations, AI helped me achieve a logo direction that perfectly matched the brand vision: warm, homely, modern, and food-focused 🍲✨
What I learned from this process: • AI can significantly speed up visual exploration and branding ideation • Prompt engineering plays a huge role in getting meaningful outputs • But most importantly — AI is only effective when the designer has strong reasoning behind every design decision
As UX/Product Designers, our real value is not just creating visuals. It’s understanding:
Why this typography?
Why this color palette?
Why this visual style?
How does it emotionally connect with users and the brand story?
AI can generate options but thoughtful design rationale is what transforms an idea into a meaningful brand identity.
