Duffel Bag Product Design | Soft Goods Design | CAD Engineering | Tech Pack Development

This project showcases the complete product development process for a modern travel duffel bag, from concept exploration through manufacturing-ready documentation.

The objective was to create a premium travel bag that combines clean aesthetics, efficient organization, durability, and production feasibility while maintaining a minimalist design language.

Rather than focusing only on appearance, the project was developed with manufacturing in mind. Every design decision, from panel construction and zipper placement to hardware selection, material specification, and assembly sequence, was carefully considered to create a product that can move efficiently from concept to production.

SHEET METAL CHAIR/LAP DESK/ BOOK STAND CAD 3D PRODUCT DESIGN SOLIDWORKS

I designed a versatile, multi-functional sheet metal furniture piece that easily transitions between a chair, lap desk, and book stand. Using SolidWorks Sheet Metal tools, I engineered the flat-pattern layouts, precise bend allowances, and interlocking tab joints. The design minimizes material waste and is optimized for low-cost laser cutting and press brake bending. Deliverables included fully detailed production-ready DXF files and clean renders showing assembly configurations.

BOOK SLEEVE SOLIDWORKS 3D PRODUCT RENDERING DESIGN CAD ENGINEERING

I engineered a sleek, protective book sleeve designed to safeguard novels and tablets during daily commutes. Developed in SolidWorks, the project balances structural rigidity with a slim profile, featuring secure magnetic closures, reinforced impact corners, and an ergonomic exterior texture. The CAD layout was optimized using DFM guidelines for soft-touch overmolding and flexible polymer extrusion. I delivered precise production files alongside high-fidelity product renders showcasing realistic textile and leather finishes.
