I recently got back into freelancing, and building a portfolio site has been harder than I expected—especially trying not to turn it into an endless “perfect” project.
I debated Framer vs. just shipping something fast, and I ended up launching with Wix Studio. It’s not perfect, but it’s live (and I’m learning to be okay with that).

Most people think building a website is just design…
But my process looks a bit different 👇
Before I even touch colors or layout, I focus on:
• What action the website needs users to take
• How quickly someone understands the offer
• What might stop someone from converting
Only after that do I start designing.
Because a “pretty website” that doesn’t convert is just decoration.
Right now I’m really focused on building websites that actually bring results not just traffic.

Exactly. Design is a solution, not an art project. If the strategy isn't there, you’re just building expensive decoration.
