I built BlockDrop, a smarter way to book neighborhood home services.

Most home-service booking systems optimize around individual appointments. BlockDrop flips that model: one homeowner request can automatically become an optimized neighborhood service route.

A customer enters their address, chooses what their home needs, and BlockDrop finds or forms a nearby Drop for services like gutter cleaning or pressure washing. As more neighbors join, the route becomes more efficient and the Route Price can drop for everyone.

Behind the scenes, BlockDrop handles demand grouping, booking, pricing, crew assignment, arrival windows, reminders, weather rescheduling, cancellations and follow-up — dramatically reducing the amount of coordination required from the business owner.

The idea came from a simple question: why send a crew across town for eight separate jobs when eight homes on the same street may need the exact same service?

Instead of:

1 inquiry → 1 appointment → 1 drive

BlockDrop turns it into:

1 inquiry → neighborhood demand → 1 optimized route → multiple confirmed bookings.

The goal was to create something that doesn't just make appointments easier to book, but fundamentally changes how home-service appointments are scheduled.
