A lot of people confuse social media management with just “posting graphics.” They’re completely different skill sets.
A graphic designer focuses on visual craft, branding, layout, typography, and making things look polished.
A social media manager has to think beyond the design. Strategy, content planning, audience behaviour, trends, engagement, platform formatting, hooks, retention, analytics, timing, all while keeping the brand visually consistent.
That’s where brands often get it wrong.
They hire a designer expecting social growth, or they undervalue social media management because it looks "easy" from the outside.
Good visuals matter. But without strategy behind them, they’re just pretty posts with no real impact.
