I built my dad's therapy practice a front desk in 4 days 🦋

For years I've watched my dad, a psychologist in Cancún, answer patients' WhatsApps between sessions, late at night, on weekends. Every message matters, because behind each one is someone asking for help. So I decided to build him something better. 💙

For the Lovable × Contra "Built it for small business" challenge, I built Ceiba, a booking and follow-through system for a small therapy practice with 4 therapists and 3 shared rooms.

---- For patients 💬 ✨ "Tell us what you're looking for": patients describe what they need in their own words ("panic attacks, first time, in English, after work"), and AI finds the right therapist, room and time. Prefer to browse? Classic filters by therapist, service and language are always there. 🗓️ Only real availability: a time shows up only when both a therapist AND a room are free. 💻 In person or by video, with a private link to confirm, reschedule or cancel. No calls needed. 🤝 Never a dead end: if nothing fits, patients join the waitlist in seconds.

---- For the owner 📊 🔁 When someone cancels or reschedules, the freed slot is offered to the waitlist automatically. 💰 In 3 months (demo data), 61% of cancellation losses were recovered, with $114,900 MXN refilled from the waitlist. 🤖 "Ask your dashboard": the owner asks questions in plain words. Code computes every number, and the AI only explains them. 📨 0 messages typed: confirmations, reminders and offers send themselves.

---- How I built it 🛠️ Built in 4 days with Lovable (app, Lovable Cloud, Lovable AI), Claude for planning and prompts, and Google Docs for the brief and 6 rounds of feedback. Claude Design and Canva for branding. No hand-written code.

---- ⚠️ Demo data. Payments, messages and video calls are simulated. The practice is fictional, inspired by my dad's. My dad is the one real therapist in the app.
