I haven't been posting enough so here's what i did the past 3 days: I want my team to have a single source of truth for inspiration and references, while being easy to search and inspect things. gotta go fast. Basket saves all references to the same bucket for the whole team, every item gets analyzed by a vision model in depth and tagged, then made into embeddings. Search for anything in english and it will spit it out super fast. Inspect videos frame by frame, comment, collect, put the whole internet in the same basket. 🤙 Do you think this is something that's useful and adds value to our workflow? Retrieval system over 370 sections of Indian tax law, chunked to section level so every answer carries a citation. Evaluated on 52 hand-verified questions baseline recall@5 of 0.71. Diagnosed the failure mode as a vocabulary gap between everyday phrasing and legal terminology, fine-tuned the embedding model on 1,361 pairs, and improved recall@5 to 0.85. Deployed torch-free (ONNX Runtime) to run within free-tier hosting limits.
