If you build portfolio sites for musicians, this one is worth an hour before your next brief.

A client presses play on their own site, clicks through to another page, and the track stops. They will notice. They will ask. And the fix is not a bug fix — it is a structural decision about where the player lives, plus a design commitment to a bar that sits on every page for the life of the site.

Which means it belongs on the deliverables list as its own line item, scoped and priced, rather than absorbed as "polish" after handover. It is a day of work and a permanent piece of layout, not a tweak.

We wrote up what persistent playback actually requires: the three continuities, the single-owner rule that prevents the doubling bug, and what a permanent bar costs you in layout.
