I was building this for fun… and somehow it turned into one of my favorite projects.
Built for the Config Makeathon using Figma Make, WallBoard is an interactive photo wall studio that transforms everyday memories into beautiful, customizable collages and wallpapers.
Upload your photos, drag them anywhere on the wall, switch between different backgrounds, add handwritten captions, resize cards, and preview your creation in real time. Every interaction was designed to feel tactile and playful more like decorating a real memory board than editing photos.
The goal wasn't to build another photo editor. It was to make digital memories feel physical again, giving people a creative space to arrange the moments they want to keep close.
WallBoard is my take on turning simple photos into something personal, aesthetic, and worth pinning forever. 📌✨
