On this couriers' based mobile app, I decided to use a different approach to visualise analytics in a more functional way rather than just numbers.
So, I designed the before ux and after ux mobile screens.

"Before" is actually way more functional for couriers on the go. A driver needs glanceable numbers in seconds candlestick/bar charts add unnecessary cognitive load when they are in transit.

Wide layout feels so much closer to calm, balanced than portrait does, that editorial pacing does a lot of work. Was the client on board with losing the immediate face-first hook, or did you have to make the case for it?
