Saw the @stitchbygoogle challenge. 12 hours left on the clock. Deadline midnight.
Reasonable person: "Maybe next time."
Me: "How hard can it be?"
So I built GRADitude in one chaotic, very caffeinated night.
Here's why it exists: I was researching for my own master's once. The number of tabs I had open was genuinely embarrassing. Hundreds of universities, hundreds of programs, and zero clarity on which ones actually fit me. My GPA, my budget, my country preferences, my course. I did it all manually. It was exhausting, and honestly, no one should have to do that.
So I built something that does it for you.
Tell GRADitude about yourself through a simple chat flow, no forms, no dropdowns. It runs your profile through an AI pipeline that scores your eligibility, estimates costs, pulls deadlines, and semantically matches your program. Then hands you back a clean shortlist: Safe, Moderate, and Ambitious.
The backend is a 6-skill Python pipeline. The frontend had 12 full screens prototyped in Google Stitch during the same 12 hours.
Did I sleep? Briefly. Was it worth it? Ask me after the results.

I made it while building aftrglo — a bigger project to make sharing creative work online feel lighter. Prism is one small creative wander from that process. And today it gets its own little launch 🐣

It came from the same place as all my experiments:

kept playing with it,
then realized it might be useful for someone else too.
So I cleaned it up and decided to share it before the bigger project is ready.
