🚀 Just wrapped up one of the most ambitious creative projects I've built this year: Nocti.
Nocti started as a simple idea—a desktop AI companion—but quickly became an exploration of storytelling, branding, character design, UX, and AI-assisted development.
What surprised me most wasn't the final result. It was the process.
✨ More than 50 character iterations before Nocti finally felt right.
🎨 Countless design refinements to create a cohesive visual identity.
💬 Rewriting interactions so the experience felt thoughtful instead of robotic.
🧠 Learning new workflows with AI tools, GitHub, React + Vite, and modern creative pipelines along the way.
This project reminded me that good design isn't about the first idea—it's about refining the hundred little decisions that make something feel intentional.
Whether or not Nocti wins anything, I'm genuinely proud of how much I learned while building it.

Great job
I created this launch video for Tony Bianco using both CGI and AI.
This is how I did it.
The background was generated with ChatGPT image gen 2, denoised with Gemini. Then, because AI video can reduce quality quite a bit and we wanted to have the people in the store moving, I animated the video with Seedance but mask cropped it so that the only visible part of the video is the store and the people inside moving.
For the banner animation, this was done completely with CGI, as well as the taxi.
The lighting was done well enough that everything in the scene feels real, but nothing was shot in real life!

Built for CleanTech startups, solar inverter brands, EV charging networks, and smart home IoT platforms, this warm, minimalist mobile interface turns intricate power metrics into actionable energy insights.
The Problem We Solved
Most energy management platforms overload users with confusing technical jargon, unreadable raw data tables, and disconnected system metrics. For everyday homeowners, understanding power flow between solar panels, battery reserves, home consumption, and the electrical grid feels like reading a utility bill without a key.
This concept prioritizes visual clarity and flow mechanics through intuitive power node diagrams, real-time generation trackers ($4.98\text{ kWh}$), $CO_2$ offsets, and dynamic battery reserve cards.

Real-Time Generation & Carbon Metrics: High-visibility hero widget highlighting real-time output ($70.9\text{ kWh Generated}$), solar intensity, $CO_2$ saved ($2.4\text{ kg}$), and monetary daily savings.
Interactive Energy Storage & Load Curves: Granular line and bar graphs tracking hourly stored energy ($20.1\text{ kWh}$) and peak vs. off-peak consumption limits.
Self-Powered & Grid Dependence Gauge: Visual radial arc showing $50\%$ self-powered autonomy ($92\%$ peak self-power vs. $8\%$ grid reliance).
Dynamic Node System Power Flow: Interactive visual node architecture displaying live power distribution between Solar Production ($62\text{ kW}$), Home Usage ($3.5\text{ kW}$), and Battery Reserve ($90\%$ Charge).
