For the @Renoise challenge, I present to you, "Fall of Tokugawa".
STORY AND IDEA In the aftermath of a bloody war between feudal lords of Japanese Empire, the warlord who won is walking in the battlefield, seeing the scale of destruction that a war brings.
Just then, he stop to look at the dead body of the enemy king just to freeze in horror and realise that the enemy who died was once his childhood friend who moved out of the kingdom.
The idea behind this story was to depict how war creates only more suffering and takes away the people you love and care about.
EXECUTION After locking the idea and story, I jumped straight into the Renoise Canvas and made the characters first with their poses.
After that, I generated the main keyframes for all the 7-8 shots that I needed. One I had the keyframes, I generated all the videos and refined the final cut.
This is my first time making a video with the help of Renoise AI, and it was a breeze to work with. Extremely intuitive. Thank you team @Contra HQ and @Renoise for this challenge, leant alot :D
If you like the video, do leave a like or comment, goes a long way!
