Iāve landed on a pretty simple system using just Claude + Flora.
Claude is where I develop the thinking - my existing brand direction, concepts, and refining prompts until they actually reflect the creative intent behind the project.
Flora is where that intent becomes visual. Itās a node-based canvas, so I can generate imagery, iterate variations, drop in mockups, and build full product scenes in one connected system.
I donāt see AI replacing design thinking. I see it speeding up execution while I stay fully in control of direction, taste, and decisions.

How do you know when it's time to rebuild a portfolio?
For me, it was a slow realization. My work, thinking, and vision had quietly outgrown the site - and at some point, I couldn't ignore it anymore.
The problem wasn't the design. It was that I kept growing, and the site didn't.
So I finally rebuilt it. From scratch. No templates, no shortcuts - Framer for structure, Rive animations woven throughout. I wanted the site itself to feel like a piece of work, not just a shelf for work.

Building it also made me think harder about what actually belongs in a portfolio. Because a rebuild forces you to make cuts. And cuts are uncomfortable.
A few questions I kept coming back to:
ā Does this project still represent how I think?
ā Would I be proud to walk a client through this today?
ā Is it here because it's good or because I spent a lot of time on it?
That last one is the hardest.
Would love to know how you approach this. When does a project stop earning its place?
Questioning what it's working and what's not is always a 10/10 start!
What if your AI workflow is the reason your brand still looks generic?
Q2 forced me to reset how I build everything creatively and honestlyā¦ I simplified it way down.
Right now my process is just two tools, but waaay more intention behind them.
Iām using Claude to actually think with me. I feed it strategy, references, and the full brand world, and it translates that into really detailed prompts. When you pair that with Nano Banana 2, you finally start seeing visuals that actually feel like your brand.
I stopped expecting AI to figure it out and started directing it like a creative partner.
Thatās also why I moved away from MidJourney. The second you need anything brand-specific like real text, packaging, or logos, it starts to fall apart. Itās great for vibes, not for building real brand systems.
This workflow forces more clarity upfront, and the output is 10x more intentional.
