Unpopular opinion: Expensive studios are overrated.
I shot these beauty product visuals for SJP 'Lovely' on my table using a piece of chiffon, an iPhone, and simple lighting. No thousand-dollar gear. No studio rent.
The point isn't that I used a budget setup, it’s that the final visual speaks for itself.
Clean framing, good lighting, and understanding how to highlight product texture matter way more than holding an expensive camera.

that said while doing my makeup one day, i decided to turn the camera on since i had bought some new products to try. after filming i had not 1 or 2 but 3+ pieces of content i could explore (word to repurposing 🤭)
the difference in these:
→ one i'm talking, sharing my expectations & live reacting
→ the other i'm demoing the product & letting the music do most of the personality for the post

One product, two ways to build the stage around it.
One opens the room wide: a vast hall of polished floor and gold light, waveforms suspended overhead like an installation you could walk beneath.
The other closes in tight: an anechoic chamber lined with foam wedges, stone plinth, everything stripped back so only the object remains.
One makes it an event. The other makes it a reference.
