Usually, responsiveness is the bigger challenge early on. Performance becomes critical once real data and interactions are introduced.

I’ve seen the same dynamic — responsiveness tends to dominate early because it directly affects perceived polish, while performance issues often surface once real data, states, and user interactions scale.

Great point — totally agree with that perspective.
In my projects, performance pressure usually comes first from data handling and API latency. Animations matter too, but inefficient data flow and network delays tend to have the biggest impact early on.
