Lake County Solid Waste Management District | Environmental Services
The Overview
Lake County Solid Waste Management District is a public organization dedicated to promoting recycling, environmental education, and responsible waste disposal throughout Lake County, Indiana. The goal was to create a modern, user-friendly website that makes it easy for residents to access recycling services, educational resources, event information, and waste management programs.
My Role
Full Website Design & Webflow Development
I led the complete design and development of the website in Webflow, translating the district's goals, branding, and extensive content into a responsive, accessible, and easy-to-manage digital platform.
The Challenge
The district needed to organize a large amount of public information without overwhelming visitors. Residents needed quick access to recycling programs, hazardous waste collection schedules, educational resources, and community events, while the organization required a website that staff could easily update as new programs and announcements became available.
Key Solutions
Citizen-Centered Information Architecture
Organized services, recycling programs, educational resources, and news into clear navigation paths, allowing visitors to find information with minimal effort.
Accessible & Responsive Design
Designed and developed a fully responsive Webflow website that delivers an excellent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices while maintaining accessibility for a broad public audience.
Dynamic News & Community Updates
Built dedicated sections for announcements, environmental initiatives, events, and educational campaigns, making it simple for the organization to keep residents informed.
Scalable Content Management
Leveraged Webflow CMS to enable staff to update news articles, programs, recycling information, and community resources without requiring technical expertise.
The Outcome
The finished website provides Lake County Solid Waste Management District with a modern digital platform that improves public access to essential services and environmental education. The responsive Webflow build simplifies information discovery, streamlines content management for staff, and strengthens community engagement by making recycling programs and public resources easier to access.

BRED FOR. is a fictional dog brand built on one idea: every breed was bred for a job, and the instinct never left. Collies herded sheep, poodles retrieved ducks, Yorkies hunted rats, Dalmatians ran beside fire carriages, so each product turns a breed's original work into an everyday object.
Style 01 is built from Japanese and Korean folk art found at the Cleveland Museum of Art, The Met, LACMA and the Rijksmuseum, and designs the products as soft, deadpan designer objects.
Style 02 is built from early colour autochromes and a 1914 lithographic poster from the Rijksmuseum and the Albertina, and turns every scene into a modern fashion campaign with an archival feel.
The two Styles were chained with Edit image: Style 01 products placed into Style 02 scenes, every headline rewritten in the brand's dry, deadpan voice. The strongest images were selected, upscaled and finished with a logo made in Recraft Logo Maker.

Designed an AI research workspace where the agent plans the work and fills a sheet with cited sources as it goes.
Same screen, two modes. Which one would you work in all day? 👀

Keeping the research plan and cited results side by side is a useful way to make the agent’s work easier to inspect. I’d lean toward light mode for reading the table in daylight. How do you distinguish a verified source from one that still needs review?
