AtmoPals reimagines traditional weather UI by transforming standard meteorological icons into living, breathing characters deeply integrated into the user experience. Instead of static symbols or isolated looping animations, the AtmoPals are fully reactive to both real-time environmental data and personalized user preferences.

Hi! This is my second entry for the Rive Character Challenge. This wolf character was a previous project of mine, a personal exploration of what Rive can do with character interaction. I handled the full process — from initial sketches and reference gathering through illustration, colour variations, rigging, and final animation in Rive. The result includes cursor-following head movement, click animations, and a structured state machine that keeps all the interaction states clean and manageable. An alternative version pushes the dynamics further with a more exaggerated cursor follow and a snappier click response.
