Today I noticed a clear pattern while reviewing freelance opportunities.
Almost every company was looking for more than someone who could "build a website."
They wanted someone who could:
• Improve the user journey
• Think about conversions
• Organize information clearly
• Understand SEO fundamentals
• Use AI to work more efficiently
The website itself wasn't the final goal.
The goal was creating an experience that helps a business grow.
That's why I believe web design is no longer just about aesthetics.
It's about solving business problems through structure, clarity, and thoughtful user experience.
The best websites don't simply look good.
They make people trust, understand, and take action.
