Automated Invoicing System with Multi-Agent AI
A few months ago, I was tasked with automating a critical bottleneck for an automotive parts distributor: the manual generation of invoices and quotations. The process required sales agents to manually search for parts across disparate catalogs, calculate costs, and draft invoices—a slow and error-prone workflow.
To solve this, I designed a Multi-Agent System architecture. I implemented a "Supervisor Agent" pattern using LangChain and LangGraph to orchestrate the workflow autonomously. The system controlled three specialized sub-agents:
Search Agent: Located the requested parts in the inventory.
Invoice Agent: Generated the fiscal document automatically.
Database Agent: Logged the transaction and updated stock levels.
