What Are MTD, QTD, and YTD?
MTD (month-to-date): This KPI measures performance from the start of the current month to the present date. It provides companies with rapid insights on how they are performing in the current month.
QTD (Quarter-to-Date) evaluates performance from the beginning of the current quarter to the present date. This KPI allows organizations to measure their performance over an extended period of time compared to MTD, which is consistent with quarterly targets.
YTD (year-to-day) measures performance from the start of the calendar year to today's date. This KPI offers a complete perspective of the company's overall performance and long-term trends.
