I Built SlotLock: Turning HVAC Inquiries into Confirmed Appointments in Under 2 minutes
It's 85°F in Denver and a homeowner's AC just quit working.
They Google "AC repair near me" and call the first shop that shows up.
That shop is Ironwood Heating & Air, an independent owner-operator business running 4 to 6 service vans for heating, cooling, heat pumps, and seasonal maintenance. The owner is on a ladder, the lead tech is in a crawlspace, and there's no receptionist. The call goes to voicemail, and the homeowner calls the next company on the list.
Ironwood is a hypothetical client, but the problems are very real for small home-service businesses.
