Production Backend for an AI Product Platform
Description
At an early-stage AI startup, I led backend development for core product features powering a consumer AI platform. I designed and delivered production-ready APIs for product catalog management, Ask-AI workflows, inspiration pipelines, and social feed services.
The system included PostgreSQL schema design, OpenAPI-documented REST endpoints, caching strategies, rate limiting, strict request and response validation, and recommendation-to-product mapping to support scalable product interactions.
I also handled release readiness and backend reliability, including CI/CD deployment workflows, Alembic-based database migrations with rollback planning, health monitoring endpoints, structured logging, and performance validation through load testing.
This work helped establish a stable backend foundation for rapid product iteration in an early startup environment.
