Built nestjs-agentic: an open-source, NestJS-native runtime for governed AI agents. The idea started from a simple problem: existing NestJS backends already have the business logic agents need. Why rebuild everything in a separate agent stack? nestjs-agentic brings agents, tools, policies, context, approvals, memory, MCP, and orchestration into the NestJS architecture while keeping the underlying LLM runtime swappable. Built in TypeScript and designed around explicit capabilities, policy enforcement, and testable agent workflows.
