Excited to submit my app for the Config Makeathon 2026! ---What I built I built Savored, a personal catalog app for specialty coffee and matcha lovers. Scan any bag or tin, AI auto-fills the tasting notes and origin details, and your catalog builds itself. Built with Figma Agent, Weave, Make, and MCP. ---Problem Specialty coffee and matcha culture has exploded but the tools to track and remember your discoveries haven't kept up. Enthusiasts today manage their taste memory across a fragmented stack: scattered notes apps, disorganized photo libraries, saved posts on social media, and mental notes that don't survive the week. There's no dedicated place to log what you've tried, capture what you tasted, and quickly reference it when you need it most: standing in a shop, browsing online, or trying to remember whether that matcha was worth ordering again. You forget more than you remember. Experiences worth capturing disappear. And every new discovery starts from zero. ---Solution Overview SCAN Point your camera at any coffee bag or matcha tin. Savored's AI reads the label and auto-fills the entire entry: roastery or farm, origin, tasting notes drawn from the SCA coffee taster's flavor wheel and Japanese tea descriptors, process, and price. One scan. Complete record. LOG Every coffee, matcha, and café visit in one beautiful place. Tasting notes drawn from the SCA coffee taster's flavor wheel and Japanese tea descriptors. Personal notes, ratings, photos, and tasting notes all structured and searchable. DISCOVER AI recommendations surface what to try next based on your actual taste history. A wishlist holds everything you want to explore with full origin and producer details, not just a saved link. A community discovery feed surfaces what other enthusiasts are logging, importable directly from Instagram and TikTok. The result: your taste memory, finally in one place. Accessible in seconds. Building your catalog every time you try something new. Savored is built for a passionate and growing community, specialty coffee and matcha enthusiasts who travel out of their way for a great cup, who have opinions about origins and processing methods, and who deserve a tool as intentional as their hobby. ---Tools Figma MCP + Claude Code for creating the design system, initial screens, and UX audit Figma Design Agent + Figma for iterating on designs, tweaking details, and creating visual assets Figma Make for creating the interactive app, scanning animation, and connecting flows Figma Weave for generating storytelling video clips and images 🕹️ Site: https://map-greet-68695114.figma.site/ (https://map-greet-68695114.figma.site/)📁 Working file: https://www.figma.com/design/NrpfHhraWeSM4tR5f9tKbS/Savored?node-id=0-1&p=f (https://www.figma.com/design/NrpfHhraWeSM4tR5f9tKbS/Savored?node-id=0-1&p=f)🔗 Social: https://x.com/agnosaurus5/status/2067667789767463025?s=20 #ConfigMakeathon and @contra @figma #ConfigMakeathon #FigmaxContra #BuildInPublic #FigmaMake #FigmaAgent #FigmaWeave #Savored #SpecialtyCoffee #Matcha #DesignedWithFigma

Enterprise Permissions for Affinity ---Problem The initial MVP solution was too limited, and large enterprise customers with strict data privacy requirements needed more granular control of how data was shared or siloed between teams. It was blocking a major investment banking client from bringing their full team onto the platform. ---Solution After user interviews revealed three distinct org structures with different privacy needs, the team designed a two-layer system: Enterprise Admins get a settings page to configure sharing permissions per data type (global, team-siloed, or user-controlled), and End Users get a consistent modal/drawer experience to choose who they share with, scoped by whatever the admin has enabled. This rolled out across web, mobile, Chrome extension, and Zoom. ---Impact The biggest customer was successfully onboarded, the beta launched in Q4 2022, and the full external release shipped in February 2023. It positioned Affinity to move upmarket into larger private capital organizations that had previously been out of reach.

Bulk Email Feature for Affinity ---Problem VCs and investment bankers using Affinity had to export contact lists into separate tools like Mailchimp to send bulk outreach emails. This multi-tool workflow was time-consuming and error-prone, emails didn't come from users' personal inboxes, and outreach activity wasn't automatically logged back into Affinity, creating extra manual work and mental overhead. ---Solution Led the end-to-end design of a native bulk email workflow inside Affinity, allowing users to compose, personalize, preview, and send emails directly from their contact lists. Key features included personalization tokens, reusable email templates, and a send preview mode to reduce anxiety around mass outreach. ---Impact By bringing bulk email into Affinity, users could complete their entire outreach workflow in one place without switching tools. Emails sent from users' personal inboxes were automatically captured in Affinity, eliminating manual activity logging and significantly reducing the time and effort required to manage relationship outreach at scale.

Mobile app redesign for Laughly ---Problem Laughly's app had confusing navigation, poor discoverability, and a visual design that wasn't scalable or cohesive enough to support the app's growing content and features. ---Solution Overhauled both the information architecture and the entire look and feel of the app, replacing the hamburger menu with a persistent 5-tab bottom navigation (validated through card sorting and tree testing with 30+ users) while delivering a full visual redesign to create a more polished, cohesive, and scalable design system. ---Impact Delivered validated hi-fi prototypes in 4 weeks, with usability testing confirming the new IA resolved key navigation pain points and the refreshed visual language positioned Laughly with a stronger, more scalable foundation for future growth.
