Many law firm websites
Project Overview| Many law firm websites look formal but fail where it matters most clarity, trust, and conversion. Users often visit these websites during stressful moments, yet the experience is confusing, heavy, and unclear.
The goal of this project was to design a website that simplifies legal information, builds credibility instantly, and guides users confidently toward booking a consultation. Problems Through research and competitive analysis, I identified recurring issues: Overcrowded navigation Weak or hidden call-to-action buttons Excessive legal jargon Poor mobile responsiveness Lack of visible trust indicators
Key Insight
Users visiting a law firm website are usually anxious, time-sensitive, and seeking immediate reassurance. If the website feels overwhelming or unclear within the first few seconds, they leave. The real problem wasn’t design aesthetics it was lack of user-centered thinking. Key Insight Users visiting a law firm website are usually anxious, time-sensitive, and searching for immediate reassurance. If the website feels overwhelming or unclear within the first few seconds, users are likely to leave and look elsewhere. The real issue wasn’t visual aesthetics alone it was the lack of user-centered thinking throughout the experience. Research Approach To avoid designing based on assumptions, I focused heavily on research and UX analysis before moving into the interface design phase. Research Methods
Competitive analysis of existing law firm websites Identifying common UX patterns and usability gaps Studying frequent mistakes in legal web experiences Creating realistic user personas based on user behavior and intent
Why This Mattered I wanted every design decision to solve a real user problem rather than simply follow visual trends. The objective was to create an experience that felt: Clear Trustworthy Easy to navigate Action-oriented
