Right now I’m focused on scaling Pocket Portfolio’s local-first + open-source ecosystem.
We’ve just shipped a resilient, client-side CSV parsing engine (15+ brokers) and extracted it into an npm package so developers can normalize messy investment data without sending it to a backend.
On the community side, we’re running a build-in-public cadence — shipping twice a week on Dev.to (https://dev.to/pocketportfolioapp) and CoderLegion (https://coderlegion.com/groups/openfi-builders), engaging directly with feedback, and turning real developer questions into shipped features (like encrypted, user-controlled backups).
The goal is simple: build financial tools that respect data ownership, stay boringly reliable, and grow through engineers—not ads.
