“The Horizon Is Folding” is a minimal sci-fi music video about a world quietly collapsing through gravitational distortions and fractured time. As Mio travels to a sea where “the horizon is folding,” her friend Kaho suddenly disappears, and reality begins looping repeatedly. Using subtle visual distortion, frame loss, and near-silent sound design, the work explores copied identity, observation, and a quiet farewell to reality itself.
