I created this promo for a company’s launch event using raw footage they provided. My goal was to turn it into a sharp, high energy video that captured the mood of the day and could be shared on social media and in internal presentations.
I began by organizing the footage, pulling out key moments that showed excitement, crowd reactions, and team spirit. The edit was built in Premiere Pro, with a focus on quick cuts and smooth pacing to keep the energy high throughout.
I carefully selected music that matched the event's upbeat tone. After testing several tracks, I chose one with a confident rhythm and modern feel. I structured the entire edit around the beat, using it to time transitions and build momentum.
Sound design added another layer of energy. I blended in ambient sounds, swooshes, and crowd noise to make the video feel more immersive.
Color grading was done in Lumetri Color. I worked with a cool tone and lifted contrast to give the footage a modern, polished look. The grade helped tie together shots filmed in different lighting and brought out the vibrance of the setting.
To finish, I used After Effects to add simple motion graphics including logo reveals and lower thirds, keeping them subtle and brand-appropriate.
The final video was under a minute and helped the client build excitement around their launch. It was shared across platforms and used as part of their brand rollout.
