FAQs
What is your design process?
My process follows a structured approach, starting with discovery and research to understand your goals and audience. From there, I create wireframes and user flows to map out the structure, then develop a design system and high-fidelity mockups. Finally, I build an interactive prototype so you can experience the design before it goes to development.
How long does a typical project take?
Most website design projects take 4-6 weeks from start to finish, depending on the scope and complexity. A simple 5-page website might be completed in 3-4 weeks, while larger projects with multiple page templates and complex user flows can take 6-8 weeks. I'll provide you with a detailed timeline during our initial consultation based on your specific needs.
How do revisions work?
Each project phase includes a set number of revision rounds to ensure you're completely happy with the direction. Typically, you'll get 2 rounds of revisions on wireframes and 2-3 rounds on the visual design. I encourage consolidated feedback to keep the project moving efficiently. Any additional revisions beyond what's included can be handled at an hourly rate.
Do you work on existing websites or only new designs?
I work on both! For existing websites, I can do a complete redesign, refresh specific sections, or optimize the user experience while keeping elements you love. For new projects, we start from scratch to create something entirely custom. Either way, the deliverables and process remain thorough and strategic.
What do you need from me to get started?
I'll need any existing brand guidelines or assets you have, content for the main pages (or at least an outline), examples of websites you like and why, and clarity on your target audience and business goals. Don't worry if you don't have everything ready—I'll guide you through what's needed during our kickoff call.
Can you help with the website development too?
Yes! I offer both design and development services. After the design is approved, I can build the website myself or hand off the files to your preferred developer. Either way, you're covered.
What if I need changes after the project is complete?
I'm happy to help! Minor tweaks are usually quick. For bigger changes or new pages, we can discuss a new scope. I also offer retainer packages for ongoing support.
