FAQs
What is your product design process?
I start with user research and competitive analysis to understand your users and market. Then I create user personas, information architecture, and user flows to map out the experience. Next comes wireframing for structure, followed by high-fidelity designs and a complete design system. Finally, I build an interactive prototype in Figma so you can test the full experience before development begins
How long does a product design project take?
Timeline depends on the product's complexity and scope. A simple MVP with core features typically takes 6-8 weeks, while a full-featured product with multiple user types and complex workflows can take 10-16 weeks. I'll provide a detailed timeline with milestones after understanding your specific requirements.
Do you design for both web and mobile?
Yes, I design native experiences for both platforms. Each gets its own optimized interface following platform-specific guidelines—Material Design for Android, Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, and responsive web standards. You'll receive designs that feel natural on each platform while maintaining your brand consistency.
What if I only have a rough idea and no requirements?
That's perfectly fine! Many clients start with just a concept. I'll guide you through a discovery phase where we define your target users, core features, business goals, and success metrics. Through workshops and collaborative sessions, we'll turn your vision into a clear product strategy before design begins.
What happens after you deliver the design files?
I organize all Figma files with proper documentation and conduct a handoff session with your development team. I'll walk them through the designs, explain interactions, answer questions, and ensure they have everything needed for implementation.
What's included in the design system?
Your design system includes all reusable components (buttons, forms, cards, navigation, modals), typography scale with font sizes and weights, complete color palette with usage guidelines, iconography, spacing system, grid structure, interactive states, and clear documentation on when and how to use each element.
Do I own the design files after the project?
Yes, you receive full ownership and usage rights to all design work created for your project. The Figma files, design system, documentation, and all assets are yours to use and modify. I only ask for permission to feature the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise.
What's included
User Research & Insights
Comprehensive findings from user interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and market research. This includes pain points, user needs, opportunities for innovation, and strategic recommendations that shaped the design direction.
Information Architecture
A complete sitemap and content structure showing how your app is organized, how different sections relate to each other, and the navigation hierarchy. This ensures users can find what they need intuitively.
User Flow Diagrams
Detailed visual maps showing step-by-step how users navigate through key tasks like onboarding, completing purchases, managing accounts, or any critical features. These flows identify potential friction points and optimize the user journey.
Wireframes
Low-fidelity layouts for all major screens across web and mobile, showing content placement, functionality, and basic interactions before visual design is applied. This allows us to validate the structure and user experience early.
Design System
Your complete UI kit including brand colors with hex codes, typography scale, reusable components (buttons, cards, modals, navigation), form elements, iconography, spacing system, and usage guidelines. This ensures visual consistency and speeds up future development.
High-Fidelity Mockups
Pixel-perfect, production-ready designs of every screen in your app for both web and mobile platforms. These mockups display the final look, including colors, imagery, typography, and all interactive states, such as hover, active, and disabled.
Interactive Prototype
A fully clickable prototype in Figma that simulates the real app experience. Stakeholders and developers can navigate through user flows, test interactions, and experience the product before a single line of code is written.
Design Handoff Files
Perfectly organized Figma files with clean layer naming, grouped components, developer-friendly annotations, CSS properties, spacing measurements, and all assets exported in multiple formats ready for implementation.
