Color Preferences: Bring along a pre-determined color palette, as this service does not include the curation of a color palette. If you desire us to curate one, please inform us, and we can add it to your service at an additional cost.
Budget: Establish a predetermined budget for the logo design project, including an understanding of any extra costs for revisions or other design-related services.
Timeline: Agree upon a timeframe for project completion and delivery, especially crucial for express logo design services.

FAQs

  • What about Payment Plans?

    Most projects are split into two payments: a 50% deposit and a 50% final payment. For flat fee projects, Contra will request the full payment from the client, releasing the initial 50% deposit to me immediately. The remaining 50% is held until the project is completed. Larger projects can have milestone-based payment schedules. While Contra is commission-free, clients will incur a Stripe processing fee for each payment. Please note that credit card information is never stored on Contra; payments are managed securely through Stripe.

  • How long does it take to complete a project?

    A logo project typically spans 1 to 3 weeks, while a standard brand identity package with additional collateral may extend up to 2 months. Timelines are project-dependent, and regular pulse checks will be conducted to monitor progress.

  • How will we communicate?

    Initial discussions and concept presentations will occur through Google Meet video meetings, or if that is not possible, through email. For brief communications, email or short recorded videos will be utilized.

  • Can we still work together even if we are not at the same place?

    Of course, most of my client are not local, so, online communication is the best option.

  • Do you do copywriting?

    No, I highly recommend hiring a professional copywriter.

  • If someone else did my logo, can you help out with other designs?

    Yes, supporting graphics can be created and provided if needed.

  • Online Consultation

    First, let's have a quick chat so we can get to know a little about each other and about your brand needs.

  • Collaborative Moodboard

    We will share visual inspirations to have a first feeling about what you would like to see as the outcome. This could be by email, whatsapp, or even a shared Pinterest board.

  • Primary Logo

    Your brand needs a visual representation, and that can be demonstrated by having your brand name only, your brand name accompanied by a symbol/icon, or just an symbol/icon. It will be the first image a client sees or thinks about your brand.

  • Short Documentation

    With your logo finalized, I'll send it to you, for approval, a short presentation, showing how the symbol was constructed, colored and monochromatic versions.

  • Open Files + Final Files

    After approval, I'll send .ai, .pdf, .png and .jpg files of each version for you to use wherever you'd like.

  • Mockups

    Inside the PDF presentation there will be a couple mockups to showcase brand applications.

  • 3 Revisions

    In case you think there's something to improve, or something that was missing, we can always revise the design to get to what you truly want and like.
