What I Need From You

All content centralized in a single folder, categorized in subfolders, and properly named (e.g., "projects/project-name/hero.jpg" not "final_v3_real.jpg")
High-resolution project images (at least 1920px wide for full-bleed work)
Project descriptions: client name (if shareable), your role, brief context
For videographers: A paid Vimeo account (Plus or higher) [Recommended] for embedding your reels and project videos. YouTube embeds are okay if budget is a concern.
For musicians: Links to your streaming profiles (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud) and any embeddable players you want featured. If you have music videos, see videographer requirement above.
For designers/artists: Case study content, if you want process breakdowns, not just final images
A short bio and professional photos of you, if you plan on showing yourself
Social links and any press/features you want highlighted
References for portfolio sites you admire (what specifically resonates with you, so I can create a design that closely matches what you want)

What You Can Expect From Me

Clear communication—no disappearing acts
Work that looks like it cost 3x what you paid
A site you can actually update yourself
Ownership of everything (you keep your Webflow workspace)

About Me

Webflow Expert (Contra Certified) with nearly 4 years of experience building high-converting websites for enterprise clients. I've shipped component systems used across global teams, held the top-converting website redesign for an entire year, and co-invented a patented animated UI system.
I specialize in:
Conversion-optimized web experiences
GSAP animations and custom interactions
Scalable Webflow CMS architecture
Sites that actually perform (speed, SEO, accessibility)
I don't take every project. I work with founders, creatives, and businesses where Webflow is genuinely the right tool—not a compromise. If your project needs something else, I'll tell you.

FAQs
Squarespace and Wix are excellent for simplicity, but they often force your vision into a pre-made box. As an experienced designer on both platforms, I’ve found they hit a ceiling when you want something truly bespoke. Webflow is my professional choice because it offers the creative freedom of a custom-coded site. It allows for high-end executions—like GSAP animations and intentional, non-templated layouts—while still giving you an easy-to-use dashboard for updates.
Scroll-triggered reveals, parallax effects, smooth page transitions, hover states with personality, text animations, image sequences—basically anything that makes a portfolio feel alive without being distracting. See the attached project that highlights my GSAP skills.
Not if they're built correctly. I optimize all animations for performance, lazy-load images, and test across devices before launch. Your site should feel smooth, not sluggish. If an animation is causing issues, I'll simplify or remove it—performance always wins.
Two reasons: quality and control. Vimeo Pro/Plus gives you clean embeds without ads, better compression, and password protection for client work. YouTube embeds look cheap on a portfolio—they show recommended videos, ads, and branding that distract viewers from your work. If videography is central to your work, Vimeo is my professional recommendation. Adding videos to the website will significantly slow it down, which could prevent some users from accessing your site. Therefore, hosting the videos as external links is optimal.
You can, but I don't recommend it. YouTube embeds come with ads, related video suggestions, and branding you can't remove. For a portfolio where presentation matters, that undercuts the quality of your work. If budget is tight, Vimeo Plus is ~$12/month—worth it for serious videographers. As someone who has hired creative talent before, little details like this separate you from the competition.
Yes. I set up the CMS so adding a new project is as simple as uploading images, writing a description, and hitting publish. No code, no developer needed. I'll walk you through it before we wrap.
I can give feedback on curation—what's strongest, what tells a story, what might be redundant—but the final selection is yours. You know your work and your audience better than I do. That said, less is usually more. A tight portfolio of 8-10 strong projects that highlight your interest and/or industry you want to work in, beats 30 mediocre ones.
That's common. During discovery, I'll ask about your work, your audience, and any references you admire to create a seamless user experience. From there, I'll propose a direction in Figma before building anything. You'll see the design, and we'll refine it together until it feels right.
Yes. Webflow supports password protection on individual pages. I can set this up so you can share confidential work with select people without making it public.
Included in every portfolio build. Webflow CMS allows unlimited form submissions. Nonetheless, I'll integrate with whatever email platform you use—Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Buttondown, etc. If you don't have one yet, I can recommend options based on your needs.
Yes, but it's an add-on. Webflow has native e-commerce, and I can set up a simple shop for prints, physical goods, digital presets, or whatever you're selling. We'd scope that separately, depending on how many products and how complex the setup is, which can affect the project's timeline.
Yes. I can structure your site to include an EPK section—bio, press photos, streaming links, embeddable music, press quotes, booking contact—all in one place. You can send the link to venues, labels, or press instead of a PDF.
The site lives in your Webflow workspace, and you pay Webflow directly for hosting ($14-23/month depending on plan). You own everything. I won't be holding your site hostage or charging monthly fees to keep it live.
