Process
1. Discovery & Alignment
I started with a collaborative session with the Payloom team to understand their goals, audience, and market position. We unpacked who they were targeting startups, freelancers, and small businesses and what pain points users had with payment platforms: lack of transparency, unclear fees, and poor UI.
🎯 Goal: Build a website that builds trust fast, explains benefits clearly, and makes action seamless.
2. Research & Competitive Benchmarking
I analyzed competitors like Wise, Stripe, and Paystack to see what was working and what felt too generic. This helped guide content structure, trust signals, and how to highlight Payloom’s unique selling points: simplicity, speed, and transparency.

3. Wireframing & UX Flow
Next, I created low-fidelity wireframes to define how users would move through the site from landing to signup. Every section was purposeful: hero statement, features, user testimonials, pricing transparency, and a frictionless CTA path.
✍️ Focus was on a clear hierarchy that made scanning easy and next steps obvious.
4. UI Design & Visual Direction
Using Payloom’s brand palette, I crafted a clean, confident design style blending subtle gradients, friendly icons, and bold typography. I gave special attention to building visual trust through testimonials, recognizable logos, and minimal, modern layouts that didn’t overwhelm.

5. Handoff & Collaboration
I prepared a clear handoff package with all design assets, components, and responsive layout specs. The dev team was looped in early, making handoff seamless and production-ready. I also created a simple design system to support future pages and updates.
