OVERVIEW OF MY PROCESS 1. An initial 1 hour consultation consists of a creative brief questionnaire discussion for the cover and any preferences for the interior, preferred vendors, budget and timeline, including subsequent phone meetings discussing any edits or design change requests. 2. Then I flow in of the final edited manuscript for a print page count estimate. 3. At the next stage, I will supply a first proof of interior AND 2-3 first concepts of the cover, print spine and print back by 3-5 business days after an agreement is signed. Two additional revision stages of the cover and interior are part of the fee.

4. If you want images within the text, a separate fee times the number of images will be added for production, analysis and repair to your supplied images.

5. Export to electronic publication (ePub) (including file testing and trouble shooting) is a separate fee from the print version. ePub upload date is 5-7 days after to-printer date. Work can not begin until I have received the final edited manuscript, dedications, forwards/intros, author bio for inside and back, copyright and ISBN (possible Library of Congress numbers), all needed images and graphics, and a retainer deposit for half of the final fee. Premium rates are incurred when: • there is a rushed timeline • changes are requested after signed approval has been sent • more than the allowed revision stages are requested.
