Basic grammar and consistency will also be checked, as well as overall character development, in-world logic/rules, story consistency, etc. You will receive a tracked-changes file (with changes at line and paragraph level indicated, and explained), a clean final copy ready for submission, and several summary memos on the story and character development. Proofreading Rate = $0.020 per word ($20 per 1,000 words).

Copyediting Rate = $0.040 per word ($40 per 1,000 words).
Developmental Editing Rate = $0.050 per word ($50 per 1,000 words).
