MY DESIGN PROCESSES & METHODS
Understanding the design brief - This stage allows me to gain a detailed understanding of your business, target audience and goals. I will have a brand questionnaire ready for you which we will discuss during our discovery call =, or you can supply me with a design brief.
If you choose to supply a design brief it must include details based on the following:
An overview or background story of your brand
Current issues
The overall objective of the project
Target audience
Brand visions and values
Market Research - Based on the information provided by you, I will conduct research based on your target audience i.e. what they do/don’t respond well to and any current trends in the market that can help me meet the objectives of the project. Things I tend to look out for range from the type of design, style, colour, or branding your competitors use that appear to be more effective.
*I can also bring forward ideas that may complement the requirements of your design brief*
Drafting Ideas - I will use mood boards to help with brainstorming ideas based on the research I have collected.
Design Proposal - I will incorporate my ideas from the mood board into a design for you to review, this proposal will also include design variations.
Feedback Loops and Revisions: Your opinion matters!! - During this stage, I will refine the designs based on your feedback provided. To ensure that your branding fits the purpose of your business goals and objectives, I will also offer my advice and recommendations where necessary!
Final design - You're now one step closer to starting that business of yours! Once the design is complete, I will send over a WeTransfer file containing your logo files and brand guidelines.

  • How many revisions will I receive?

    x2 free revisions per design, any after that will cost an additional charge.

  • What is the turnaround time for the project?

    1 week excluding weekends and bank holidays

  • Design Concept & Creative Direction

    A strategic approach to crafting your brand’s identity. This includes: Brand Discovery Session – Understanding your brand’s vision, values, and target audience.= Mood Board Development – Visual inspiration to set the tone for your branding Creative Direction Document – Defining the aesthetics, typography, colours, and imagery that align with your brand’s message

  • Primary Logo

    This will be the main representation of your brand and one that is used for most branding materials

  • Secondary Logo

    A simpler version of the primary logo, containing your brand name. This file will be most suitable for when space may be limited during use.

  • Submark Logo

    A simplified and condensed version of your primary logo consisting of an iconic image that represents your brand - perfect for social media and favicons.

  • Logo Files

    High resolution files for digital and print use PNG, PDF & JPEG 300dpi

  • x3 BIA (Brand-In-Action) Mock-Ups

    A visual representations of how your brand will look in real-world applications, such as: Business cards, packaging, or signage. Digital platforms like websites and social media. Merchandise or marketing materials.

  • Brand Guidelines & Strategy Document

    A comprehensive guide to maintain brand consistency. This includes: Logo Usage – Rules for correct and incorrect logo applications. Typography – Recommended fonts and styles for cohesive branding. Colour Palette – Primary and secondary colours with HEX/RGB & CMYK codes for accuracy.

  • Bolt-ons (optional)

    An extra mock-up or design service can be requested to enhance your branding package (at an additional cost)
