About this service

Summary

I'll either create a WordPress site from scratch or help you to improve your existing one! I can also help you set up your website with SEO plugins and Google Search Console.

Process

Consultation - We will meet (video or phone call) to discuss what you're wanting out of your website and outline a basic list of features. We will also discuss the timeline of the overall project and go over what to expect.

Project Plan - From our consultation, I'll compile a project plan that contains all of our ideas and the timeline we discussed in the consultation. We will meet to go over the plan to make sure we're on the same page about everything and make any necessary changes to the plan.

Creation - I will create your new WordPress site or improve your existing one to include all the features we discussed in the project plan. You will also receive periodic updates on my progress.

Approval - We will walk through the finished site together to make sure we have all the features you wanted as detailed in the project plan. This will be your opportunity to ask for revisions to the website if you see anything you'd like changed.

Revision - If you had any change requests from the approval meeting, I'll implement those changes and we will have another meeting to go over the final product.

Project Wrap-Up - I'll send you the final product of your website! Along with your website, you will also receive a final report that will show my completed work against the timeline of the project as well as any relevant performance metrics.

What's included

Project Plan
A clear, written plan that contains: a list of agreed upon features, timeline of delivery, maintenance plan, and any specific design elements requested (fonts, colors, etc.)
Periodic Progress Reports
A series of reports that detail the work I have completed for that time period (week/2 weeks/month, etc.). These will also show the work I have planned for the next period, as well as any outstanding items/information I need from the client in order to complete work items. We can discuss how often you'd like to receive these reports depending on the scope of the project
Your Website
The finalized WordPress site with all agreed upon features
Final Project Report
A document that wraps up what work was completed for the project and details relevant KPIs / performance metrics.
Maintenance Plan
If you want me to maintain your site, this will outline any ongoing work that I will be in charge of going forward. If not, this will detail all the information you'll need to maintain the site yourself!
