This service offers you an opportunity to build a unique and memorable logo design that will stand the test of time and make your business standout.

Process

My approach to logo design is equal parts strategic and creative. It is a process that ensures the best results and it consists of 4 stages, discovery, ideation, design and delivery.

Discovery During the discovery phase, we will conduct an in-depth analysis of your project, research your preferred target audience persona's and also conduct an audit of your direct and indirect competitors. At this stage, we will also evaluate if we are a good fit to proceed further with the project.

Ideation Following the research and analysis conducted in the discovery phase, I will draft 2 logo design concepts for you to choose from. You can request revisions on any of the concepts presented to further customise it to your preference. If by any chance you do not like any of the 2 concepts presented, there will be a third, more collaborative concept that we will explore together to better fit your specifications and style. After the 3rd concept, any additional concept(s) will incur additional charges.

Design In this phase of the process, I will vectorise and finalise the design of the logo, finalise the colour palette and present typography/font pairing options for the brand, as well as a 1-page guideline.

Delivery In the 4th and final phase of the project, I will deliver all the files mentioned in the service deliverables in all the listed formats.

FAQs

How do I know the logo designed is original and not a copy of a logo elsewhere?
An important part of the process is checking a global brand database to ensure that the final logo design presented is not in use by any entity anywhere in the world as this would lead to copyright and legal issues. Be rest assured that the final logo design we present will be fully custom and unique.
Who owns the copyright of the final logo?
After the final payment of the project is made and the project delivered, the copyright of the logo automatically transfers to the client. However, the copyright of all the other concepts presented during the projects that went unapproved automatically return to the designer.
How does the payment for this service work?
Payment for this service will occur in 3 instalments, the invoice for the first instalment (for $250) will be sent immediately after the discovery call (or phase 1). This will mark the beginning of the project and the subsequent phases will commence only after that invoice has been paid.  The second invoice(also for $250) will be sent after the conclusion of phase 2(ideation) and then the final invoice before phase 4 (delivery). The option of paying full price upfront is also available and it comes with a 20% discount (instead of paying $750 for the full project, you only pay $600).
Is there refund policy for this service?
In short, all payments for this service are non-refundable. We invest a lot of time, effort and funds into the operational side of this business and it will be against our interest to offer a refund of any sort. This is why it is very important to schedule a discovery call before the start of the project so both parties can evaluate if we are a good fit to proceed. Once we kick-start the project, we are very confident in our ability to deliver as we have for hundreds of client before!

I understand how important it is to manage client expectation, but my process is equal parts creative as it is strategic and It involves a close collaboration with the client and a healthy amount of communication. This process as outlined in the "process" section of this service has worked for over a hundred client projects I've worked on with fantastic results!

Custom illustrated logo design
You will receive a custom illustrated logo design or logo system (includes primary and secondary logo's), depending on the creative direction of the project. Delivered in all the necessary file types and formats i.e Ai, svg, png, pdf, eps & webP
Colour palette
You will also receive a well researched and appropriate colour palette with matching Hex, RBG, CMYK, HSB and Pantone® colour codes for all your print and digital uses.
Typography
Also included is an appropriate font pairing that complements the logo design, colour palette and overall brand personality.
Mockups
You will also receive a collection of mockups that'll reflect your logo design and colour palette in real-life situations.
1-page style guide
Also included is a 1-page style guide that will illustrate how best to express your logo design, colour palette and typography in a way that will reflect your business' creative direction.
