About this service

Summary

What's Conceptualization?

In the conceptualization phase, we will work on wireframes based on your UX strategy that map out all the necessary elements, functionalities, contents, etc as well as the layout for website projects. Based on the scope these wireframes will include 1-3 variations for the main tasks.

What's Visual Design?

After we built the blueprint of our project, we will then start to bring it to life. In this step, we will work closely with the brand guidelines and create a design that matches the voice, tone, and identity of your brand. This also includes the creation of a style guide and depending on the scope a well-documented design system.

How does it work?

Throughout the process, there will be a couple of steps we will follow to make the project run as smoothly as possible.

  1. Project Brief & Goal Setting - First Meeting You'll brief me about your project. This includes the current state, where you want to get as well as references of other websites/apps that you like.
  2. UX Strategy & UX Research In this step, I will take a closer look at the project and get a good grasp on what's the task at hand. If necessary I will also conduct a UX research where I will take a look at best practices and the solution of your competitors.
  3. Wireframing & Prototyping I - Main Functionality / Main Layout - Second Meeting With a good understanding of the project, I will create the first few wireframes that will dictate future iterations. For websites, these mainly include the layout, site structure, and behavior. For mobile applications, the focus is more on the main functionality and user flow.
  4. Wireframing & Prototyping II - Completion - Third Meeting After we decided on a direction to go I will create further screens that will cover the all pages created in the sitemap. In this stage, we will have a couple of iterations based on your feedback. Once you are happy and approve the concept we continue to the next step.
  5. Visual Design Research - Moodboard Based on your references I will create a deck with multiple moods and inspirations that fit your project's needs.
  6. Visual Design I - Main Screens - Fourth Meeting According to your feedback on the research deck I will work on the design of the main screens for the project. For websites, this is mostly the landing page as well as a detail page. For mobile apps, this includes the main screen as well as a detail page.
  7. Visual Design II - Completion - Fifth Meeting Similar to the concept phase after we decided on a direction I will be working on the remaining screens that complete the project and on the style guide.
  8. Hand Off - Last Meeting Once we both feel happy about the project, I'll collect and organize every deliverable we've agreed upon and hand them over to you.
