• What's a logotype?

  A logotype is a typography-driven logo of your brand name (example: most clothing brands). A logomark, conversely, is a symbol or design that is sometimes used in conjunction with a logotype and sometimes alone (example: Nike swoosh). The logotype can use other non-typographic elements but is type-driven.

• Why do I need brand colors and fonts?

  It’s not enough to create a logo and call it a day — you need a designer who can think through your brand image and express it with branding (a logotype, brand colors and brand fonts) that tell a singular story, setting you up for success.
You will use these branding elements on everything you need designed in the future, for a cohesive and consistent brand message.
